StampLife Privacy Policy
StampLife helps people explore landmarks and keep stamps from verified visits. Signing in is optional, and the core experience is available as a guest.
1. Information we process
- Account information: Firebase user identifier, selected sign-in provider, and verified email address
- Service records: earned stamps, visited regions, unlock attempt results, and app settings
- Optional location features: precise location samples when you view your location or start an on-site Stamp challenge
StampLife servers do not store passwords or Google or Apple OAuth access tokens. Firebase Authentication and the selected identity provider manage authentication credentials.
2. Why we use this information
We use this information to protect and restore your Passport across devices, verify on-site visits, provide stamps and visited-region records, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and improve the service.
3. Retention
- Precise GPS samples used for unlock verification: 7 days
- Failed, cancelled, or expired unlock summaries: 30 days after completion
- Account merge audit records: 30 days
- Minimum identifiers required to complete deletion: up to 30 days after a deletion request
- Stamps and visited-region records: until you delete them or delete your account
Information required by law may be retained separately for the applicable period. Information scheduled for deletion expires from operational backups within 30 days.
4. Service providers and international processing
We use Google Firebase for authentication, Apple for Sign in with Apple, and Railway for the application API and database. OpenStreetMap, OpenFreeMap, and Google Maps may be used to display maps. Information may be processed in facilities outside your country as part of providing these services.
5. Your choices and deletion
You can delete your account and service data from the account menu in Passport. You can revoke location access at any time in device settings; current-location and on-site Stamp verification features will then be unavailable. If you cannot access the app, use the account deletion guide.
